The MARIAN SERVANTS® of Jesus the Lamb of God began in the Diocese of Jackson, Mississippi in 2014. Our community is one of several Marian Servant Communities across the United States, which began in 1982 with “The Marian Servants of Divine Providence” in Clearwater, FL. The mission of the Marian Servants® is to bring Catholic Christians to a deeper understanding of their vocation and mission in Christ, in the Church and in the world.

Our community fosters that mission with a unique focus on spiritual direction, intercessory and healing prayer, Ignatian prayer and spiritual formation. By embracing the Marian Servant Rule of Life, of holiness, obedience, and humble servanthood, the Marian Servants® of Jesus the Lamb of God pray and grow together with the shared mission of becoming like Mary, in openness to the Holy Spirit and bearing Jesus to the world. We follow a Rule of Life devoted to: the Holy Spirit and Mary, the Mother of Jesus, authentic Catholic teaching and are loyal to the Magisterium of the Church.

Marian Servants® of Jesus the Lamb of God is a Public Association of the Christian Faithful dba Lamb of God Community, Inc. a 501(c)(3).

Spiritual Direction

A primary charism of the Marian Servants is helping others deepen their relationship with Christ through Spiritual Direction. Trained by the Cenacle of Our Lady of Divine Providence School of Spiritual Direction in Clearwater, FL., and certified by Franciscan University of Steubenville, our directors follow a prayer model inspired by St. Ignatius of Loyola. Ignatian prayer uses the imagination and the true desires of one’s heart to hear God’s voice in daily living. The director acts as a compassionate listener, while the Holy Spirit is the active spiritual director. A directee is encouraged to pray with scripture and spend time with the Lord daily.

Abide in Me

A group program created to deepen your relationship with the Lord using the eight themes of prayer developed by Fr. John Wickham S.J. This program is a grace-filled prelude to the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius.

19th Annotation of the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises

This version of the Exercises is extended over nine months so as to allow individuals to experience the exercises amidst their daily lives with weekly prayer practices, readings, and meditations. The individual will meet once a week to share their prayer experiences with a spiritual director.

Retreats and Seminars

Retreats

Our retreats focus on spiritual growth and inner healing. They include various combinations of:  praise and worship, authentic Catholic teaching, Mass, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, opportunity for confession, healing prayer, small group interaction, and mediations on scripture.

Seminars

Our Life in the Spirit Seminars offer attendees the opportunity to go deeper into their understanding and relationship with the Holy Spirit. We cherish all the gifts of the Holy Spirit and pray for the baptism in the Holy Spirit for those who desire it and as well as teachings on walking with the Holy Spirit.

Spiritual Formation

Group Study and Prayer Experience

We welcome anyone who is seeking a deeper spiritual journey and a desire to live and grow in community with others. Our weekly meetings consist of a time of praise and worship, teaching, sharing and the rosary.

We invite those interested, to join us for programs in healing and formation and in making our annual Consecration to Jesus through Mary.
